“He stood motionless
upon the mountain top above the great valley below and a woman clad in black
armor was at his left side. His men were filed in a single rank behind weapons
stowed at side. The one motioned to her and she turned to the army, with an
obedient nod all stood fast then she moved aside.
The blade ignited with
hiss and spark. Its color was true of the darkness of his heart. The one cried
out deafening all ears about. With mind of fury the mountainside he came down screaming
out loud fear, anger, and hate abound.
The being in constant
motion, his blade perpetual, it cut through limb, torso, and neck without vex.
Blasters could not reach him blades could not graze him. From circles and rings
that bind he left nothing alive behind. In the center he stayed, circled by
many he never swayed. Under constant assault he assailed all looking for the
next attack, never realizing his own tack.”
The young Jedi Knight
in master Hoth’s grasp convulsed and twitched. “He’s not a man,” the Jedi
stuttered as he began to slip further away. “He’s a monster.” Lord Hoth looked
down upon the limbless body, then back into his eyes. What remained convulsed
hard once again form the shock of the trauma savagely inflicted upon it.
From the darkness the
Jedi was suddenly inflicted with a burst of life. His eyes shot open wide as
they peered deep into Hoth and as he began to speak his vocal cords vibrated
and distorted. “Leave this planet or I shall leave none alive,” the
unrecognizable voice stated. The young Jedi’s neck collapsed inward about its
circumference shrinking to a fraction of its original size. Bone and cartilage
snapped, popped, and curdled the ear.
Bane released his grip
and the Jedi fell dead with a tear
