Bane
befriended Siris during the battle and subsequent retreat of Yag’Dhul. He was
instructed personally by Kaan to get close to Bane and keep tabs on him,
ultimately to gain Bane’s trust. During their refuge on Yavin IV, Siris was
able to make some head way and drive a wedge between Bane and his long time
apprentice. Although he continues to follow Kaan’s orders, he feels genuine
admiration for Bane and finds him a natural leader. Their relationship over the
past months has grown into one of comradeship. On a daily basis, Siris grieves
for his lost brothers, and worries about losing another. Looking for console,
he turns to Bane for guidance.
Although
Siris feels great loyalty to his remaining brother, their relationship has
become strained. Siris dwells on the past and is somewhat naive of the larger
world around him. He worries that one day Bane will discover his betrayal, but
also regrets informing Lord Kaan of the planned coup by Bane’s devoted
followers. When the coup failed, all of Bane’s men and known devotees were
eliminated. Since the failed coup, Bane has been sequestered and isolated from
the remaining Brethren. The Brotherhood has lost all subsequent battles since
his internment.
Siris is dispatched by Lord Kaan to undertake a clandestine
mission of extreme importance. If he fails the Brotherhood will surely face
utter annihilation, and if he succeeds a Master he shall become.
